Polaris

2006 Interactive Art

Polaris is a start in the north sky. There is an invisible axis in this world and matters around us are going around it. The speed of rotation seems slow but it is precise and smooth. The Polaris expresses the hidden world in our daily lives. A bearing silver ball hanging in the air. We can find shadow of the ball on the table. When we see it carefully, a small star rotates slowly. If you make shadow, it will let us show the hidden world. The table crossing between virtual and real mirrors our daily life as if it is a round lake.
