Collaborative project with Tmotaka Takahashi who is a Japanese robot creator. FT and Manoi PF01 are Japanese robots that combine design artistry with leading-edge technology. Whereas FT comes across as very feminine and elegant, Manoi PF01 gives the impression of strength and friendliness. In this interactive installation, humans and robots can share one special moment. “Shadow” builds a bridge between the real shadows of the installation visitors and the virtual ones of the robots. In the interplay of these shadows, both worlds come together. You’re invited to join in on this interplay! Step behind the screen and become part of the shadow world of FT and Manoi PF01.
