MOI

A Vision for Life-Log Search Based on Encounters with Objects

The goal of this project is to introduce a new vision for information acquisition that moves away from text and words, instead relying on our daily encounters with objects and events. MOI utilizes RFID technology to assign unique IDs to objects, and as users interact with them, their IDs and timestamps are recorded. This recorded data is then visualized on a PC or smartphone, providing insights based on both conscious and unconscious encounters. The MOI system anticipates the future of the Internet of Things (IoT), where various objects are digitized and interconnected, offering an alternative vision to traditional word-based search and information systems.
