Everyday, we face to many displays such as TV, computer and smart phone. When we watch at the display, our body and soul are separated and our conscious is going somewhere from the real world. “i” is a timer to shutdown the power for recovering our separation between body and soul. The design was inspired by the shape of alphabet “i”. When you twist the dial of the timer, the shape “i” which is consisted of both round part and bar will be broken but it will get back on the form of “i”. When it approaches to the original form, the timer is starting to ring. At the same time, the computer will be shut down. Our life time is not infinity. “i” is a medium to counter with magic of the information display.
